Dakshinamurthy

Dakshinamurthy is an aspect of the Shiva as a teacher of all types of knowledge. He is worshipped as the god of wisdom, complete and rewarding meditation. This aspect of Shiva as Paramaguru, is his personification as the supreme or the ultimate awareness, understanding and knowledge. Below Dakshinamurty. are the eight rishis.
