Jor Bangla Temple.
Traditionally known as kestaraya this south facing temple is famous for its structural features and exquisite terracota embelishments. According to inscriptions the temple was built by raghunath simha in 1655CE. It is a composition of two large dochalas joined longitudinally. A small charchala a brick replica of four sided roofed hut marks its junction. Its outer dochala serves as the porch and the inner dochala as sanctum. In the sanctum a stucco figure of six armed shri chaitanya deva is placed on a high pedastral against the black wall. The terracota decorations include scenes from mahabharata, ramayana and krishna leela. On walls east and west timber frame on which dochalas rest has been efficiently translated into terracota too.
