































The brick built pancharatna temple has on each of its four sides a porch showing three arches for entrence. . This temple is famous for its highly ornamentation in terracota, found all over the temple. It is decorated with floral designs and krishnaleela scenes where the rasamandala and other episodes are accommodated within circular panels. there are also scenes of social life, episodes from puranic literature, the ramayana and mahabharata and stories from saiva and sakta legends. An inscription placed on the main entrence of the temple that this temple was built for thr pleasure of sri radhika and sri krishna. it also credits malla king raghunath simha the son and sucessor of virahmbira as the pattern of the monument dedicated in the year 1643 CE
