Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace

It is an Indo-Islamic architecture built entirely with teak. The structure adorned with pillars, arches and balconies was the summer residence of the Tipu. It is believed that he used to conduct his durbar (court) from the eastern and western balconies of the upper floor. There are four smaller rooms in the corners of first floor and two in the ground floor. The garden and lawn in the front is maintained by Horticulture Department.
