Fort

Bangalore Fort was built by Kempegowda as a mud fort. Later on, Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan replaced the mud fort with a stone fort. It was damaged during an Anglo-Mysore war in 1791. All that remains of the fort is the Delhi Gate and remnants of two bastions.
